The air brushed effect is beautiful. All the shades of blue are very calming. It's awesome artwork. I am wondering though, is there a story behind the character you drew? Also if you see this, what program did you use to make your art? Thanks for sharing your art! I find it quite inspiring.
although i don't know what program she used, i can tell you that paint tool sai, gimp, and sumopaint are good to use for animeish/line forms. more advanced things like portraits and stuff, i would recommend photoshop paint programs or corel painters (cause i have a bunch of paint programs on my computer, a bunch of which i rarely use)
nice work, reminds me of this youtube speedpaint i saw that totally amazed me. i like the varied shades of blue, but i'd suggest using light source and shading to its fullest to kick up the awesomeness :D Also, i'm wondering, did you use a tablet for this?
