Willow Whisp is one of the long forgotten alicorns. She holds power over the almost invisible border between night and day. That is why her cutie mark is that of the moon turning into the sun - she holds the magic of transformation but is easily missed.
Click the picture for full size! I'd love any tips for pony art, I'm still working on my technique (yes, I know the hoof is wrong).
Thanks for stopping by!

Nice! But maybe her body is too thin? And her legs and neck too long, but I suppose that's just because of the body being too thin. I iz muddled now... DX
ReplyDeleteThat is fantastic!
ReplyDeletecool I love it
ReplyDeleteLove it!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable nice job Snowyclaw. And yes, the hooves and body aren't wide enough and the neck may need to be a little shorter, depending on what the actual pony looks like. I do know that some of the ponies such as Candace have that shape, but I'm not familiar with this one. Nice work anyways. Love it so cute!
ReplyDeleteI think the wings are a little too in the range of far back. Also, I agree with some of the others, that the legs/hooves should be wider. Alicorns do look a little bit anorexic though, even in MLP.....
ReplyDeleteAdditionally, I like the gentle mood in this, but the head has a somewhat feline style, with the eyes a bit higher than they are supposed to be.
For some anatomy/proportion references, I suggest looking at Tsitra360's art, found here http://tsitra360.deviantart.com/gallery/32289306
If you'd like to contact me on DA, for any reason, anyone welcome, its here.

Your such a great artist, Snowy!! I don't watch MLP, I have only seen one episode and I liked it, but, Alicorn looks super awesome! :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks nice, the front leg when it connects to the torso looks a bit small, but other than that amazing! Like Mia, I don't want much MLP, but Pinkie Pie is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteWow.. Yo must have seen every tutorial on Deviant-art to draw that, with the transperent tail ad all. LOVES IT TO PIXELS!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's most magnificent Snowy, great job! By the way I won't be able to comment much a all because my Windows has a virus but no worries, I'll be getting a new iMac soon! ^.^

awesome drawing! but i do agree... her neck is too long and if u could make her a little less thin on the waist it would be better but how it is is awesome, and its just my opinion, follow ur own opinion ok :)
ReplyDeleteThis is so epic!!!
ReplyDeleteYour pony drawing skills just keep getting better!
Anyways... has anyone ever tried saying the word "alicorn" on animal jam!?
It doesn't let you! It marks the word as inappropriate!
Isn't that odd? o.o

make it less realistic 0.0
ReplyDeleteThat's so cool! How do you have time to draw that? You seem to be doing a lot of homework. Do you draw it on a computer? If you do, that is really good! The lines aren't squiggly or sloppy. It's nice straight, precise lines. It looks like it was just animated! You should enter your drawings in MLP drawing contests!
ReplyDeleteP.S. What time zone are you in SnowyClaw? Do you have to wake up really early to get on Animal Jam? Where I live is easier to see what's new in Jamaa. I only have to stay up at 11pm!
DeleteI was suggested this web site by my cousin. I am no longer positive whether or not this post is written by him as nobody else understand such certain approximately my difficulty.
ReplyDeleteYou are incredible! Thanks!
Review my weblog ... Dead Space 3 game key kaufen
