Wolf by Darling Wingedbird
Hero
The wolves run through the forest, away from the big orange glow. The smell of burnt rubber drifting around the large burning woods. One brave wolf runs in, to save a lost soul, and emerges from the flames a hero. It has saved the driver. The human bent over and scratched the wild animal behind the ear, as if to say "thanks." The wolf closed its eyes and rubbed its head on the man's leg, then perked its ears and scampered off into the dark green thicket. At last, the wolf came to a clearing. It stood there, panting, then it collapsed, never to breathe again
