Silverstorm's Poetry

Forest
One day I walked into my backyard.
I saw a splash of orange.
It had a big bushy tail,
and was faster than a cat.

I ran toward it,
into the bright woods.
I was amazed by the sights,
Color everywhere.

I saw a cardinal chirping,
his feathers were bright red.
And a blue jay,
Flying to a branch.

I saw a huge maple.
I could find all the animals on it.
And I saw a beautiful rose bush,
though its thorns were sharp.

And I found footprints.
I followed them,
to find a red fox,
and its two pups.
